Shotty

Bio:

Shotty is an epic sparkly synth rock band that formed in Seattle, WA when highschool dropout Pat Moon teamed up with his nextdoor neighbor Miles Frank. After years of prolific songwriting and decidedly mosh-worthy performances around the greater Seattle area, Shotty relocated to Los Angeles. There they teamed up with producer Norm Block (Plexi, Sweethead) and Cautionary Tail Records on a series of EPs, singles, and a whimsical brand of b-movie celebration DIY music videos. Shotty aims to capture vivid videogame nerd-angst imagery, and bottle it up into bite-sized energy driven fuzzy anthems. Their influences ranging from heavy metal to pop, Shotty has created a sound that could be described as Queen meets Queens of the Stoneage.

In addition to their original music, Shotty has released a series of nostalgic video game and TV cover songs ranging from Mario to SpongeBob Squarepants. They recently recorded a Donkey Kong Country mashup at Bam Margera’s recording studio, and performed the Pokemon theme song live on stage with the original singer Jason Paige.
