Q Cosplay

Bio:

Q Cosplay, originally from Albuquerque NM and now a Phoenix native, has been cosplaying since they were in middle school at the age of 13. Growing up, they were often surrounded by all sorts of wonderful nerdy things from Akira the movie to the good old fashioned SNES games they would play in the dead of night with a towel shoved under the door to hide the light. Starting with simple things like duct taped cardboard armor and poster board props, they often found their supplies in the most unique places. While in school, they also became very fond of musical theater, appearing in many school productions including Cats and Little Shop Of Horrors. Over the years, they evolved their art into bigger and broader horizons. When they started on the journey of their transition from female to male, they found a whole new world of wonderful things opened up to them in the world of Drag. Taking their cosplay and performing skills from over the years, Q has performed all over the country as far west as Arkansas, and as far north as Minnesota. They have entered cosplay contests, drag competitions, and art contests over the years and have explored so many wonderful new creative outlets.

Q currently serves the community as drag royalty as Miss Arizona Gay Rodeo Association 2023 which they stepped down from, only to step up as Miss International Gay Rodeo Association 2nd Runner Up 2024 after a long and fulfilling run. They have won multiple cosplay contests over time, their unique makeup looks and creative costuming evolving every step of the way. They firmly believe cosplay and drag are for everyone and strive to create a safe and unique space for everyone to be creative!
