Kevin Bayliss
Bio:
Kevin Bayliss is a UK Video Game Artist, Animator and Voice Actor, who joined UK Games developer Rare Ltd in 1987, known for many popular video games.
He has produced graphics, concepts, voices and animation for Donkey Kong Country, Diddy Kong Racing, Battletoads, Killer Instinct, Perfect Dark Zero, Starfox Adventures, Yooka Laylee, and many more games. In the early 90’s Kevin was given the opportunity to RE-design Shigeru Miyamoto’s ‘Donkey Kong’ Character to re-launch the fabulous ape as the new Hero in Donkey Kong Country, and also created his sidekick ‘Diddy Kong’ who went on to star in his very own Diddy Kong Racing! Kevin has created a range of characters ranging from the comical Battletoads to the original dark ‘Killer Instinct’ cast, and even stepped into a motion capture suit to create moves for Jago, Fulgore, Riptor and more!
In 2020 Kevin founded 'DK Creations Ltd' with video game composer 'David Wise' to create their 'Video Game Inspired' musical art project 'Salamandos'
Kev now works at Playtonic Games as 3D Artist, while also producing artwork for DK Creations Ltd and live streaming about art and video games on his twitch channel Twitch.Tv/Kev_Bayliss
Also a singer & songwriter for several bands in the UK and Europe, Kev has written Dance and Rock music and performs as a vocalist alongside other musicians & game developers in the Dave Wise 5.
He will be at his signing table throughout each day.
